Privacy for Wardrobe Grant Applicants

Applying for a Wardrobe Grant may require sharing personal information about your current circumstances, goals, and life experiences. We recognize that this information is often sensitive and highly personal.

We do not expect applicants to disclose unnecessary details regarding medical conditions, legal matters, financial records, trauma, or other highly personal information unless they believe it is important to their application.

All application materials are treated with professionalism, compassion, and discretion.

Confidentiality of Personal Stories

Every woman has a story, and we believe that story belongs to her.

The Next Chapter Collective will never publicly share an applicant's or recipient's name, photographs, video, personal story, testimonial, application details, or identifying information without that individual's separate written consent.

Participation in interviews, testimonials, fundraising campaigns, social media, website features, photographs, videos, or other promotional activities is entirely voluntary. Choosing not to share your story will never affect your eligibility, application review, or consideration for assistance.

Recipients who wish to inspire others while maintaining their privacy may request anonymous storytelling whenever reasonably possible. Anonymous stories may describe the impact of the program while omitting names, photographs, locations, or other identifying information.

Our goal is always to celebrate a woman's journey while honoring her right to privacy.

Protection of Applicant Information

Reasonable administrative and organizational safeguards are used to protect the personal information entrusted to The Next Chapter Collective. While no website, email system, cloud storage platform, or electronic database can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable steps to limit access to applicant information and to maintain appropriate confidentiality practices.

Information may be retained for administrative purposes, program evaluation, legal compliance, recordkeeping, grant reporting, auditing, or organizational management in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.

The Next Chapter Collective does not sell applicant information and does not knowingly share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
